Did you know that the Magellanic Penguins are named after the Portuguese explorer and our namesake, Ferdinand Magellan whose crew first spotted them in 1520 during their expedition to the East Indies, resulting in the first circumnavigation of the Earth! Early designs of our logo were based on the black and white silhouette of these resilient little penguins with the monochrome of future designs paying homage to the flightless bird. Five years on and our small team has grown, our brand strengthened and our client base firmly established.
